How to Create an Email Signature in Outlook 2011 for Mac

Email signatures can really make your email snappy when trying to woo potential new clients or customers. Creating a snazzy signature is a piece of cake in Outlook for Mac. Let’s walk through the process so you can create email signatures that dazzle your friends and clients.

1. Open Outlook from the Apple dock.

2. Next, select Outlook | Preference from the Apple Menu bar.

3. Select Signatures to enter the area where your signatures are stored.

You can create signatures in Textedit or an HTML editor such as Kompozer.

4. Now you are ready to add your signature. Click the + sign.

5. Copy the text from Textedit and paste it into the signature field.

6. If you have a graphic simply drag and drop it in the window.

7. You can make these as complex as you want. Once you are pleased with your signature, select Default Signatures and choose the name of the signature you created.

8. Click OK and test your signature by creating an email.

Here is another example of an email signature we created. You can get as complex and artistic as you want. In this example, simply search and grab images of your favorite social icons and perform a copy/paste in your signature field. Add the social media icons to your signature and link your social profile with the image.
