If you are itching to get a replacement for Outlook for Mac 2011, you’re in luck. While you’ll have to wait till sometime in the first half of 2015 for the public beta version of Office for Mac 2015 and the second half for the full version, Microsoft gave Office 365 subscribers a treat on Halloween by announcing the release of Outlook for Mac 2015.

Microsoft says Outlook for Mac 2015 has better performance and reliability, a fresh new look, and more consistency across the desktop, Web, and mobile versions. But hey, don’t take their word for it — try it for yourself. If you’re an Office 365 subscriber, it’s pretty easy to migrate over and also import your data from Outlook 2011 in the process.

Let’s go over how to upgrade from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Outlook for Mac 2015.
